Specimen Type: Plasma

Container/Tube:

Preferred:Green top (lithium heparin plasma)

Acceptable: Serum (Red top, Gold/SST), Na Heparin plasma (label specimen appropriately)

Specimen Volume: 1 mL

Minimum Specimen Volume: 0.25 ml

Collection Instructions:  Plasma for a trough level should be drawn just before next dose.

Additional Information: Date and time of draw are required.
