Specimen Type: Plasma

Container/Tube:

Preferred Green top (Lithium heparin/ PST)

Acceptable: Serum (Red top, Gold/SST), Na Heparin Plasma (label specimen appropriately)

Specimen Volume: 0.5 mL

Minimum Specimen Volume: 0.25 ml

Collection Instructions: Plasma for a peak level should be drawn 30 to 60 minutes after completion of infusion.

Additional Information: Date and time of draw are required.
