Methodology

Test includes screen for 50 core conditions.

Minnesota Department of Health

Specimen must be collected after 24 hours of birth.

Specimen Type: Capillary blood

Container/Tube: Filter paper supplied

Specimen Volume: 4-5 blood spots

Collection Instructions:

1. Fill 4 to 5 blood spots with capillary blood.

2. Let blood dry on filter paper at ambient temperature in a horizontal position for 3 hours.

3. Keep specimen dry.
