Acceptable: Serum (Red top, Gold/SST), Na Heparin plasma (label specimen appropriately)

Specimen Volume: 1 mL

Minimum Specimen Volume: 0.25 ml

Collection Instructions:

1. Overnight (12-14 hour) fast.

2. Patient must not consume any alcohol for 24 hours before specimen is drawn.

8-31 days: 30-184 mg/dL

31-91 days: 40-175 mg/dL

91-181 days: 45-291 mg/dL

181 days-1 year: 45-501 mg/dL

1-4 years: 27-125 mg/dL

4-7 years: 32-116 mg/dL

7-14 years: 24-137 mg/dL

14-16 years: 34-165 mg/dL

>16 years: 30-150 mg/dL
