Test Code LAB0203067 Lupus Anticoagulant InhibitorProfile, Blood
Methodology
Dilute Russell's ViperVenom
Initial testing includes: Protime (PT), activated partial thromoboplastin time (APTT), and dilute Russell Viper Venon Time (DRVVT).
If PT >12.5 sec, PT mix wil be performed at an additional charge
If aPTT >36.5 seconds, APTT mix will be performed at an additional charge
If DRVVT Test Ratio is <1.2, a Silica Clotting Time Test and Ratio will be performed at an additonal charge.
A DRVVT and Silicia Clotting Time 1:1 Mix is performed when clotting times are prolonged at an additional charge.
A thrombin time and/or Heparin anti-XA assay unfractionated may
also be performed to rule out Direct Thrombin Inhibitors or Factor
X Inhibitors
